This is an innovative itinerary across Roman and Medieval Barcelona, specially designed for families with young kids, to make this half-day journey into the city’s history very fun and friendly to both, kids and parents.
Barcelona is a city with a close relationship with dragons. This is so, because St. George is the patron saint of Barcelona and, following the legend, “St. George saved the princes killing the dragon…”. Hence, the city is full of dragons, watching us from the gargoyles of the old buildings. More than a thousand of them are hiding in the façades, the streets and the squares of the city. This tour is a gymkhana through the Gothic Quarter, thought for families and led by a specialist guide. The group is accompanied by the guide who takes you across the streets of the Old Town. The guide will explain stories that took place there during the activity. Families will discover the hidden dragons (in sculptures, doors, façades, gargoyles…). Every time you find a dragon, the guide will propose several tests like making crafts, puzzles, draws…
